PCV Surface Water Order 2010

Description: Replaces PCV Surface Water Order 2006, enables licensing of stormwater harvested from works of an authority, water used for dairy shed cleaning and water from a waterway for domestic and stock where the licensee also holds a licence for conservation of Crown frontage that has been fenced off.

Order applies to: Thomson, Latrobe, Bunyip, Yarra, Maribynong, Werribee, Moorabool, Barwon, Otway Coast River Basins.

Werribee Basin PCV Surface Water Order 2011

Description: The purpose of this Order is to amend the Permissible Consumptive Volume Surface Water Order 2010 by deleting the permissible consumptive volume for the Werribee River Basin from that Order, and to declare a new permissible consumptive volume for the Werribee River Basin.

Order applies to: Werribee River Basin.

PCV Groundwater Order 2011

Description: To amalgamate all previous PCVs into a single Order, and to allow for the issue of licences under section 51 of the Act required for certain pumping tests and as a consequence of the Dairy Shed Water Licence Transition Program, and for Managed Aquifer Recharge schemes (which will not result in any increase to the nett volume of groundwater extracted).

Order applies to: All groundwater management areas.

PCV Groundwater (Goulburn-Murray Water) Amendment Order 2013

Description: The purpose of this Order is to amend PCVs as declared in the PCV groundwater Order 2011 for three groundwater areas managed by GMW to recognise the groundwater volumes licensed under the Dairy Shed Water Licence Transition Program, to change the PCV for the Mid Loddon Groundwater Management Area following the recommendation in the local management rules dated 1 July 2009 for that area, and to remove the PCV for the Upper Ovens WSPA following approval of the management plan for that area.

Order applies to: Katunga WSPA, Lower Campaspe Valley WSPA, Loddon Highlands WSPA and Upper Ovens WSPA.

PCV (Southern Rural Water) Groundwater Amendment Order 2013

Description: To amend the PCV order 2011 dated 4 July 2011 to include water issued under the Dairy Shed Water Licence Transition Program, to set separate PCVs for various formations in the Nepean Groundwater Management Area, and to make a number of other amendments to PCVs.

PCV Groundwater (Goulburn-Murray Water) Order 2014

Description: The purpose of this Order is to declare PCVs for 5 groundwater management areas administered by Goulburn-Murray Rural Water Corporation. The PCVs will be based on catchment areas and will incorporate PCVs previously declared for the Alexandra, Kinglake and Mullindolingong groundwater management areas.

PCV Groundwater (Mid Goulburn Amendment) Order 2015

Description: The purpose of this Order is to amend the PCV Groundwater 2011

Order to: (i) reduce the PCV declared for the Mid Goulburn GMA to better support the water balance in that Area; and (ii) provide for better delineated depth boundaries in line with the intent of Victoria's Groundwater Management Framework.

PCV (Paaratte GMA) Order 2018

Description: The purpose of this Order is to remove the provision for the Paaratte GMA from the PCV Groundwater Order 2011 and provide for a separate declaration of a PCV for the Paaratte GMA which distinguishes it from other overlying and underlying geological formations.

PCV (Stratford and Wandin Yallock GMA) Amendment Order 2018

Description: The purpose of this Order is to amend the PCV Groundwater Order 2011 to change the name of the Wandin Yallock WSPA and to amend the PCVs of both Stratford and Wandin Yallock GMAs. The PCV amendments take into account licences in each GMA that were not included in the original Orders and ensures the total licenced volumes do not exceed the PCVs.

PCV Surface Water Amendment Order 2020

Description: The purpose of this Order is to amend the Permissible Consumptive Volume Surface Water Order 2010 published in the Victoria Government Gazette G31 published on 5 August 2010 at pages 1739 to 1741 to declare permissible consumptive volumes for additional surface water systems, and to decrease the permissible consumptive volume declared for the Otway Coast.
