Progress

Plan2Farm was launched in September 2017 after a detailed and collaborative design process, and is expected to assist up to 600 Victorian farmers and families through to 2020.

The scheme offers one to one support to farmers to undertake longer-term business planning considering significant changes in the GMID and agricultural sector. Through a guided process, Plan2Farm assists farming businesses to make more informed decisions about their farming future to improve resilience and help to provide a clear path forward, including improving water use and environmental management on farm.

The program continues to be funded through the fourth tranche of the Environmental Contribution, under the Sustainable Irrigation Future initiative.
