We’ve completed a 12-month review of delivery share arrangements in the Goulburn-Murray and Sunraysia irrigation districts. This delivers on the Government’s commitment to help irrigation districts respond to changing customer needs as part of Action 4.3 in Water for Victoria.
This is part of work to support irrigation communities adjusting to changes in climate, water availability and socio-economic impacts of water recovery under the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
Outcome reports have been prepared for each region. The reports explain:
- the specific outcomes for that region
- how they address the concerns raised by irrigators
- the actions proposed to achieve the outcomes
These reports continue the Victorian Government’s ongoing commitment to ensure clear, transparent and equitable water charging arrangements.
Updated water market trends available
Reports provide important insights into the changes in how water is owned, used and trade.
