Groundwater Levels - November 2006
Note: Last updated of November 2006. This Groundwater Report is updated every 3 months. The next groundwater update will be provided at end of February 2007.
Levels were at historic average levels or agreed management levels for this time of year for, Bungaree, Koo Wee Rup, Yangery and Telopea Downs, Katunga and Campaspe Deep Lead.
Levels were below historic averages for this time of year but stable or rising for Wandin Yallock, Wa De Lock, Sale, Nepean, Wy Yung, Shepparton, Mid Loddon, Moolort, Murrayville, Warrion and Denison.
Levels were below average and falling for Deutgam, Upper Loddon (formerly Ascot), Spring Hill, Murmungee, Neuarpur, Nullawarre, Glenelg, Yarram, Kialla, Condah and Nagambie.
The water authority is closely monitoring levels in the Deutgam, Sale and Nepean Groundwater Management Areas and may apply restrictions on use in these areas.
A seasonal allocation of 25% entitlement applies to Deutgam WSPA.
A restriction on transfers of entitlement into or of historically (metered) unused water within the Clydebank Restricted Use Zone of Sale WSPA applies.
