Groundwater Levels - February 2008

Levels were below average and falling for the following key groundwater management areas: Wandin Yallock, Kialla, Condah, Mid Loddon, Moolort, Murmungee, Nepean, Shepparton, Spring Hill, Campaspe Deep Lead, and Yarram.
Levels were below average, rising or stable for Glenelg, Sale, Katunga, Mid Goulburn, Deutgam, Denison, Neuarpur, Nullawarre, Murrayville, Upper Loddon and Yangery.
Levels were at historic average levels at Telopea Downs, Wa De Lock, Warrion, Wy Yung, Bungaree and Koo Wee Rup.
The Groundwater Management Plans for the Campaspe Deep Lead WSPA, Katunga WSPA and Spring Hill WSPA have caps on groundwater extraction that are set by either managing to water levels or setting maximum extraction volumes.
