Groundwater Levels - November 2007

For areas under Groundwater Management Plans (e.g. Campaspe Deep Lead, Katunga and Spring Hill), caps on groundwater extraction are set by either managing to water levels or setting maximum extraction volumes.
Levels were below average and falling for the following key groundwater management areas: Condah, Sale, Wandin Yallock, Kialla, Glenelg, Mid Loddon, Moolort, Neuarpur, Shepparton, Spring Hill, Campaspe Deep Lead, Katunga and Yarram.
Levels were below average, rising or stable for Mid Goulburn, Deutgam, Denison, Nepean, Nullawarre, Upper Loddon, Murrayville and Yangery.
Levels were at historic average levels at Telopea Downs, Warrion, Wy Yung, Murmungee, Bungaree, Koo Wee Rup and Wa De Lock.
