Rainfall - November 2008

Total November rainfall was close to or above the long-term normal across most of Victoria. Only isolated parts of the Wimmera and western regions of Victoria recorded below average rainfall for November.

The highest total monthly rainfall of 256.2 mm was recorded at Mount Nowa Nowa in East Gippsland. Rainfall in the eastern region of the state was generally between 100 and 200 mm. The rest of the state received between 25 and 100 mm of rainfall, except the far west where there was less than 25 mm.

Melbourne received 52.6 mm of rainfall in November, close to the long-term average of 59.5 mm.
