Streamflows - November 2011
Above average rainfalls across parts of Victoria produced good end-of-month stream flows at many stations. This was an improvement on the low streamflows experienced at the end of October.
This month, 11 stations recorded flows above the November average at the end of the month. Two stations recorded flows between 40 and 79% of the November average, while 10 stations recorded flows between 10 and 39% of the November average. Flows less than 10% of the November average were recorded at stations in north-west and central-west Victoria.
With the exception of the Wimmera River at Eversley, end-of-month flows at all stations were higher than the historical November minimum and the average flows recorded for November of the 2006/07 drought.
