Restrictions on Diversions - August 2011

Rosters and restrictions on diversions from unregulated streams.
At the end of August, only one unregulated stream or lake across the state was subject to restrictions. As a result of the consistent rainfall during 2010/11 to date, this is the lowest number of unregulated waterways on restriction since 2003/04.
- There were no bans in place in Goulburn-Murray Water’s jurisdictions at the end of Augusts.
- There was one ban in place in Melbourne Water’s jurisdictions at the end of August.
- There were no bans in GWMWater’s region at the end of August.
- There were no bans or restrictions in Southern Rural Water’s region at the end of August.
