Restrictions on Diversions - August 2011

On this page

Rosters and restrictions on diversions from unregulated streams.

At the end of August, only one unregulated stream or lake across the state was subject to restrictions.  As a result of the consistent rainfall during 2010/11 to date, this is the lowest number of unregulated waterways on restriction since 2003/04.

  • There were no bans in place in Goulburn-Murray Water’s jurisdictions at the end of Augusts.
  • There was one ban in place in Melbourne Water’s jurisdictions at the end of August.
  • There were no bans in GWMWater’s region at the end of August.
  • There were no bans or restrictions in Southern Rural Water’s region at the end of August.
