Rainfall - August 2011
Gippsland and parts of north-central Victorian received above average rainfall during August, while rainfall in south-central and north-east Victoria was below average.
monthly rainfall of 178.6 mm was recorded at Reeves Knob. Weeaproinah in the Otways recorded its lowest total August rainfall on record at 54.9 mm, much lower than the August average of 233.2 mm. Rainfall in Melbourne and the south-central coast was very much below average.
