Rainfall - July 2011
Rainfall during July was average for most of Victoria, however, parts of the Mallee and central Victoria were drier than usual, and Gippsland, the Alpine region, and parts south-west Victoria saw above average rainfall.
The highest total monthly rainfall of 296.2 mm was recorded at Weeaproinah in the Otways, followed closely by 274.2 mm recorded at Gelantipy in East Gippsland. Rainfall in Melbourne was average to below average.
