Urban Water Restrictions - June 2010
There were no changes to urban water restrictions during June.
At the end of June, 243 Victorian towns were on restrictions. This is significantly lower than the same time last year, when 337 towns were on restrictions. Of the current towns on restrictions, 87 were on Stage 1 restrictions, 11 on Stage 2, 111 on Stage 3, 16 on Stage 4 with general exemptions and 18 on Stage 4. Approximately 270 towns were not on water restrictions but were subject to permanent water saving rules.
