Rainfall - June 2010
Rainfall for June was below average for parts of north-eastern and north-western Victoria. It was above average in areas around Port Phillip Bay and average for the rest of the state. The highest monthly rainfall of 185.6 mm was recorded at Weeaproinah in the Otways.
Rainfall for most of Melbourne was above average during June. There was also good rainfall over Melbourne’s supply catchments in the second half of June, which will help keep the catchments wet leading into the winter-spring filling period.
