Rainfall - April 2010
Total rainfall for April was close to average across most of the state. Patches of central, north-east and western Victoria received rainfall that was above the long-term April average, while rainfall in East Gippsland and parts of Melbourne was below the long-term April average.
The highest monthly rainfall of 235.6 mm was recorded at Mount Buller in the Alpine region, which was well above the April average.
Rainfall for most of Melbourne was below average during April.
