Rainfall - December 2009
Most of Victoria received average rainfall in December, however parts of the northeast, central and East Gippsland regions received less than the December average.
The highest monthly rainfall of 114.2 mm was recorded in the Alpine region at Mt Buller, followed closely by 113.8 mm recorded at Weeaproinah. The Bureau of Meteorology considers the totals to be average for both sites.
Melbourne received 59.0 mm for December, which was also close to the average (59.1 mm).
