Urban Water Restrictions - May 2008

The following changes were made to urban water restrictions during May:

North East Water reduced restrictions to Stage 2 from 17 May for Tallangatta, Bellbridge, Wodonga, Kiewa, Tangambalanga, Rutherglen, Wahgunyah, Bundalong, Yarrawonga, Tungamah, Devenish and St James.
North East Water lifted restrictions from 30 May for Walwa, Mount Beauty, Yackandandah, Barnawartha and Tawonga.

The total number of Victorian towns on restriction as at 31 May 2008 was 366, of which 63 towns were on Stage 1, 70 were on Stage 2, 41 were on Stage 3, 18 on Stage 3a, 77 on Stage 4 with general exemptions, and 97 on Stage 4.
