Final Western Region Sustainable Water Strategy
The Western Region Sustainable Water Strategy was released on 10 November 2011.
The Strategy outlines the water resources throughout the region, as well as investigating the challenges and opportunities facing all water users into the future. It sets out a range of measures to make the best use water resources in different parts of the region, protect the environment and be ready to manage a variable climate and future droughts. It includes implementation details such as timing and responsibility for key actions.
