Engagement
The Central Region SWS was developed in partnership with rural and urban water corporations and catchment management authorities, and is the result of a comprehensive 18 month consultation process with the community, including industry and local government. The process included a Discussion Paper, a Draft Strategy, public meetings, public submissions and scrutiny by an Independent Panel of experts.
A Consultative Committee was also appointed to provide strategic guidance, advice and oversight for the development of the Central Region SWS. This committee was made up of representatives from the government and community organisations.
