Reinstatement on the project’s easement began during the month of November and includes putting top soil back and preparing the ground for pasture sowing. Reinstatement also includes installation of the easement’s Dial Before You Dig signs which will remind landowners, occupiers and visitors to not dig in the area without first calling 1100 or visiting www.dialbeforeyoudig.com.au. Hydrotesting on the pipeline is progressing with three of the four sections successfully tested. The final section is currently undergoing testing.
Energisation of the power cable will commence in the near future. This process occurs in stages over several weeks in three sections from Cranbourne Terminal Station to the plant site.
