Planning Permit Applications in Open, Potable Water Supply Catchments
Guidelines have been introduced to assist local government and water corporations in their assessment of planning permit applications for use and development of land within all open, potable water supply catchments in Victoria.
The purpose of the guidelines is to protect the quality of potable water supplies whilst facilitating sensible development within these catchments. They provide clarity to land owners, local councils and water corporations requirements for how and where development can occur.
Please refer to the guidelines for further information on eligibility and how to apply.
