Secure Allocations, Future Entitlements
Secure Allocations, Future Entitlements (SAFE) is a project funded by the Commonwealth Government under the National Groundwater Action Plan to progress the management of groundwater in Victoria.
The SAFE project will recommend new boundaries for groundwater management areas and ensure consistent management across the state.
The project will provide guidance for groundwater management, taking into account water users, the environment, and interactions between surface water and groundwater.
Groundwater users and local agencies involved in managing groundwater are encouraged to attend engagement workshops.
For more information on this project, or to attend one of the consultation sessions below, contact the DSE Customer Service Centre on 136 186.
