AGL Hydro Partnership - application to revoke Bogong Village Bulk Entitlement

On 19 February 2012, the Minister for Water, the Hon. Peter Walsh MLA, approved an application from AGL HP1 Pty Ltd, AGL HP2 Pty Ltd, and AGL HP3 Pty Ltd (collectively trading as AGL Hydro Partnership) to revoke their Bulk Entitlement (Bogong Village) Conversion Order 1997.  The approved Revocation Order was published in the Government Gazette on 22 March 2012.

The bulk entitlement was replaced by a take and use licence issued under section 51 of the Water Act 1989 (the Act) in 2001.  However, as the bulk entitlement was not formally revoked at the time, AGL Hydro’s application sought to resolve this administrative issue.  The revocation of this bulk entitlement does not alter practical operations of the supply system, affect water supply to Bogong Village or any other water entitlement holders in the Kiewa basin.
